Kaouki Karma Surf
Recently built by Boujmaa Guilloul, after many years of welcoming windsurfers to Moulay Bouzerktoune beach north of Essaouira, and promoting windsurfing there, he decided to launch a multi-sport surf club on Sidi Kaouki.
The center is located in the heart of the village of Sidi Kaouki, near the main parking lot, opposite the beach, overlooking the region's main breaks.
"Our vision: sailing is more than a sport. The ocean is a source of learning and inspiration. Of connection to nature and to ourselves. Of surpassing ourselves. And it's also a great place to play and share."
Boujmaa Guilloul
Boujmaa is one of the pioneers of water sports in the Essaouira region, venturing onto the waves and ocean since 1996.
Crowned International Windsurfing Tour (IWT) champion in 2016, he has won several events around the world, including the prestigious Aloha Classic in Hawaii in 2014. Boujmaa was the first Moroccan to tow surf the majestic Jaws wave in Hawaii, and has surfed many world-class waves such as Teahupoo in Tahiti and Margaret river in Australia.
He strives to learn every day, and to share his knowledge and experience from his many years of travels around the world.
