Individual reservations

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay is required at the time of booking, and can be changed up to 48 hours before arrival, subject to availability. 

It can be made by bank transfer to a Moroccan bank, or by wafacash. 

Proof of payment will be requested. The reservation will be confirmed by e-mail once payment has been verified. 

The balance must be paid on arrival.

Preparing your stay

By car from Essaouira:
Drive to Sidi Kaouki, then take the coast road through the village, continuing southwards. After 13 km, you'll come to the Oued d'Aghbalou, which you'll recognize by its greenery and the blue sign indicating the waterfalls.
The Hameau des Cascades is 200 m after the bend, just behind the first houses. 

By car from the Agadir road:
If you're coming from Agadir on the main road, drive through the village of Smimou for another 5 km. A sign will indicate Ait Idir on your left. Follow this road for 5 km to reach the village, where you'll see only a few roadside stores. Don't take the track to Iftane, but follow the tarmac road. It won't be long before you pass a pass with a magnificent view of the sea (2.5 km). Drive past the mosque, the hamlet is a little further on the left. 

By private cab: We can organize transfers from any city in Morocco, just ask us. 

By bus: Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to reach the village by bus. 

To get around once at Hameau des Cascades, we recommend you come by car. We can recommend car rental agencies in Essaouira.

While there are a few shared cabs from the douar to the village of Smimou, there is no public transport to Sidi Kaouki or Essaouira. 

If you don't plan to travel far, we can always book you a cab to Essaouira, Sidi Kaouki, Imsouane, or any other location. 

Many activities are possible in the area around the house, either independently or in partnership with local service providers. Don't hesitate to ask us for more information or contacts.

Nearby walks: the beach is a 15-minute walk away, and the Sidi Mbarek waterfalls are 20 minutes away.

Hiking and sightseeing
To discover the region, there are some wonderful half-day and full-day hikes available. We can recommend Ottmane to guide you along the trails.
- from the hamlet to Iftane beach
- from the hamlet to the argan forest, the wild Aghanaj beach and the Cascades
- from Sidi kaouki to Cap Sim and its dunes
- visit the Smimou salt pans and/or the traditional souk
- and many more!

Organize your own retreat at Hameau des Cascades

The Hameau des Cascades has :

12 beds + 1 extra bed

Divided into 8 rooms:
. 1 superior double or twin room, with private bathroom
. 4 standard double rooms, with shared bathroom
. 1 standard triple room, with shared bathroom

. 1 standard twin room, with private bathroom (organizer room)

It can accommodate up to 18 people: 16 participants + 2 organizers
But to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we have decided to limit our capacity to 14 people.

Le Hameau des Cascades is our new home, a place of calm and serenity in the heart of nature. A place to take time for yourself, to listen, to connect with nature. Within this framework and with this intention, we ask you to respect certain rules of communal life:

. All interiors are non-smoking
. Alcohol is not permitted during retreats
. Please respect the peace and quiet of the site, located in the heart of the village
. Except for exceptional activities (please ask us), quiet is requested between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Meals are always totally vegetarian and homemade, using seasonal produce and whenever possible vegetables from our own garden.

Several formulas are available, depending on the pace of retirement.

- Half board: beldi breakfast + tea and cookies + dinner
- Yogic formula : herbal tea + brunch/lunch + tea and cookies + dinner
- Full board: beldi breakfast + lunch + tea and cookies + dinner

If you'd like to organize one or more outdoor meals, be it a restaurant, picnic or barbecue in a fishing village, we can arrange it together - just ask!
